Repair Windows 7 Using Disk

Fix Windows 7 Restart Problems Using Free Bootable Recovery Disk - Recently Microsoft released a security update KB2823324 for Windows 7 users to fix some issues found in Windows file system kernel-mode driver (ntfs.sys). I am trying to build a Windows 7 (32-bit) Repair Disk (not to be confused with Recovery Disk), but all the machines i've been able to find near me are 64-bit computers. I don't have the original Windows 7 (32-bit) Recovery Disks (old computer), and I don't want to do a full recovery either, I just want to rebuild the MBR.

Is it possible to repair Windows 7 without the disk?

This PC hasn't been scanned for a while. Last time the PC was on, it was scanned using Avast Free Antivirus. It detected some corrupt zip files, worms, etc in the Windows folder. I chose to delete them all. At 50% through the process, I decided to manually restart it by pressing the power button. As it came back on, Windows Repair ran.

Is the repair provided different from the repair the CD provides?
